This is a FREE add-in that can be installed from the Microsoft Office App Store.
A very useful tool to help prototype and check code that utilises the Office API.
This runs on the Windows Desktop versions of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (Office 2013 and later) as well as Office Online and Office for Mac.
Code - Opens the Code Task Pane for creating or editing code snippets.
Run - Opens the Run Task Pane for running saved scripts.
Functions - Opens the Run task pane with an introduction to Custom Functions.
Tutorial - Opens a new window with a link to "script-lab-tutorial.xlsx".
Help - Opens a new window displaying useful documentation.
Reference Docs - Opens a new window displaying useful reference documentation. Link broken.
Ask the Community - Opens a new window displaying information about the community. Link broken.
Download from the Office Store
Before downloading it you can try it in a browser first, by copying and pasting the following URL (script-lab.azureedge.net).
Display the Insert tab and select "Get Add-ins".
Select the "STORE" tab at the top and in the search box type "script lab".

The Code task pane lets you access and organise your code snippets and code samples.
