General Options

Provide feedback with sound to screen elements - Adds sounds to certain actions or events throughout PowerPoint and Office. For example, PowerPoint plays a sound when a message appears or when a process is complete. To change the sound that is associated with an event, open the Sounds folder in the Windows Control Panel. Your computer must have a sound card to play sound.
Recently used file list - Displays the names of the most recently opened presentations at the bottom of the File menu. To change the number of files listed, you can use the spinner button or enter a number from 1 to 9.
Link sounds with file size greater than - Creates a link to sounds whose file size is greater than the size you enter in the box. PowerPoint embeds sounds that are smaller than the size you enter. When you place a ".wav" sound file into a presentation. The file will be linked rather than embedded if its size is greater than the size displayed. The maximum value is 50MB. All other file formats are always linked regardless of size.

User Information

Name - Type the name and initials you want PowerPoint to use on the Properties sheet (File menu) to track changes and to mark any comments you insert in a presentation.
Initials - Type the name and initials you want PowerPoint to use on the Properties sheet (File menu) to track changes and to mark any comments you insert in a presentation.
Web options - Select options that determine how your presentation will look when viewed in a Web browser. For more details please refer to the Web Interaction section.
Service options - (Added in 2003). Sets options for customer feedback, online help, templates, and shared workspaces.
