AutoCorrect Options -


When correcting spelling in Microsoft Office programs

Ignore words in UPPERCASE - Select this check box to bypass words that are typed in uppercase letters, or clear this check box to flag all words typed in uppercase letters.
Ignore words that contain numbers - Select this check box to bypass words that contain numbers, or clear this check box to flag all words that contain numbers.
Ignore Internet and file addresses - Select this check box to bypass all Internet and file addresses, or clear this check box to flag all Internet and file addresses.
Flag repeated words - Select this check box to flag words that appear more than once in a sentence, or clear this check box to bypass all words that appear more than once in a sentence.
Enforce accented uppercase in French - If you are working with French text, select this check box to flag non-accented uppercase characters as spelling errors, or clear this check box to bypass non-accented uppercase characters.
Suggest from main dictionary only - Select this check box to ensure that PowerPoint offers you suggestions only from the original, built-in dictionary in PowerPoint, or clear this check box to allow PowerPoint to offer suggestions from the original, built-in dictionary in PowerPoint and from your custom dictionaries.
Custom Dictionaries - Click this button if you want to create, add, remove, edit, or change the language of a custom dictionary.
French modes - In 1990, the French Spelling Reform of 1990 changed the spelling of about 2000 French words and some French grammar rules. Although the reform is not universally accepted, you can specify the version that you want to use to check French grammar and spelling the traditional grammar and spelling, the new grammar and spelling, or both. In the French modes list, select one of the following:

When correcting spelling in PowerPoint

Check spelling as you type - Select this check box to check the spelling of words as you type them, or clear this check box if you do not want to check spelling as you type.
Use contextual spelling - Select this check box to find and fix contextual spelling mistakes, or clear this check box to ignore contextual spelling. The following examples of contextual spelling mistakes can be corrected by selecting this check box:
Hide spelling errors - Select this check box to bypass spelling errors, or clear this check box to show spelling errors.
