9) What is the difference between a Proper Noun and a Pronoun ?
Proper Noun - very specific
Pronoun - general, less specific

10) How many different types of Pronouns are there ?
Personal - (them, we, they, you, it, he, she)
Possessive - (our, mine, his, hers, theres) - shows to whom something belongs
Relative - (that, which, who)
Reflexive - (myself, yourself, himself, ourselves)
Interrogative - (which, whose, whom, what, who)
Indefinite - (somebody, nobody, something, nothing, each)

Modal verbs cannot work alone, only with main verbs.
Modal verbs are auxillery verbs which cannot be on there own.
eg - might, ought, shall, will, may, should, could, would, may, must

Active Verb - the main person or thing does the action
Passive Verb - the main person or thing has the action done to it
Powerful Verb - adds more interest to your writing

13) What is an Adverb ?
Is a word or phrase that describes a verb.
eg - tonight, here, soon, surely, quickly
(time and place do not always have a "ly" ending)

A proverb is a short saying that gives advice or tells you something

15) What is an Adjective ?
A describing word / describes a noun

16) How many different types of Adjective are there ?
Comparative - compare 2 nouns
Superlative - compare more than 2 nouns

Words that are used before a noun.

19) What is a Clause ?
Selection of sentence with a verb

20) How many different types of Clauses are there ?
Subordinate Clause - part of a sentence you can take out and the sentence still makes sense. It does not make sense on its own.
eg - My Granny (who is 99), lives in London
Relative Clause - can be used to give additional information about a noun.

A word that connects two main clauses together (and, if, so)
Eg: It was dark "when"
Eg: I wish I was still in bed "but"
Eg: I am early "because"
Eg: Dave shouted loudly "while"

Is a word or words that are shortened.

31) What is a Prefix and Suffix ?

This is often used to separate 2 main clauses that are closely related to each other
