machine.config

This file contains all the settings that apply to an entire computer.
This file is located in the following folder:
%runtime install path%\Config\machine.config

This is often the best place to put the settings for any components that are used by both client and server applications.

Note - deploying an application using XCOPY will not copy the settings in the machine config.
