HTML

Excel offers several functions for exporting Excel objects in HTML format as well as allowing you to import data from HTMl files.
These functions can be run using the program code with the objects PublishObject (exporting) and WebQuery (importing)

Web Components

These are controls that are suitable for the Internet in which an Excel table can be represented.
While not all Excel functions are available manu are and the advantage is that data can be manipulated dynamically in the HTML document.
There are a few diadvantages though as the web components is only available if you have a licensed copy of Office on the PC.
Good for intranets when you know what is on all the PC's.
