Version 3.6
New option in the Set Cross-reference Defaults dialog box: Switch style if pressing Enter in empty bullet/number paragraph.
The new option is enabled if the option Automatically fix bookmarks when typing Enter (to prevent certain cross-reference errors) is turned on.
If you turn on the new option, and if you then press Enter in a bulleted or numbered paragraph with no text, the paragraph will switch to the style you selected as the "switch to" style in the Set Cross-reference Defaults dialog box.
The command Restore Position and Size of Insert Cross-reference Dialog Box will now also restore the size of the dialog box to the default.
The command name has been changed to reflect this.
Improved Insert Cross-reference so cross-references are only considered self-references if the reference kind is either "Text", "Above/below", or a custom text including {T}, {P_a/b} or {a/b}, and if - at the same time - the selection is in the same paragraph as the one you select as the target.
Captions are handled a little differently since the reference kinds are different.
In earlier versions of the add-in, all cross-references you attempted to insert in the same paragraph as the target were considered invalid self-references and thus prevented.
Improved Check and Repair Cross-references in relation to self-references so it only stops at cross-references that are invalid according to the rules described above.
This means that the check does not stop at a cross-reference found in the target itself unless the cross-reference is invalid according to the rules described above.
Improved the insertion of cross-references to numbered items that have manual line break(s) added just after the number. In some situations, such manual line breaks could previously result in a cross-reference pointing to the wrong target.
Improved the insertion of cross-references to items with All Caps or Small caps. In some situations, this could previously result in a cross-reference pointing to the wrong target.
