Continuous Distributions
Continuous Data
This type of data can be measured on scale
The scale can be subdivided into as many intervals that are required
(examples: time, weight, temperature)
This type of data can be further subdivided into:
interval-scale data - has no true start (or zero point)
for example temperatue (in Celsius and Fahrenheit) is measured on an interval-scale, you can say 24C is 12 degrees hotter than 12C but you cannot say that 12C is twice as hot as 24C
