Formatting Dates

The quickest way to format a date is to use the Field Options dialog box
The date switch \@

It is possible to format your dates in many different ways

The date switch can only be used with the following fields
createdate
date
printdate
savedate
time

{ DATE \@ "ddd" } = Saturday
displays just the day of the week

{ DATE \@ "MMM d" } = Mar 9
