Double Left Mouse Click | Selects the whole word |
Ctrl + Left Mouse Click | Selects the whole sentence |
Triple Left Mouse Click | Selects the entire paragraph |
Ctrl + Q | Removes any paragraph formatting that is not contained in the applied paragraph style. |
Alt + Ctrl + 1 | Applies the built-in "Heading 1" style to the selection. |
Alt + Ctrl + 2 | Applies the built-in "Heading 2" style to the selection. |
Alt + Ctrl + 3 | Applies the built-in "Heading 3" style to the selection. |
Ctrl + Shift + N | Applies the Normal style to the selection. |
Ctrl + Spacebar | Removes any character formatting that is not contained in the applied paragraph style. |
Ctrl + Backspace | Delete one word at a time. |
Shift + F1 | Toggle the display of the Reveal Formatting task pane. It shows the formatting separating paragraph-level and character-level (or font-level, which is the font group on the Home tab) |
Shift + F3 | Toggles the selection between all capitals, all lowercase or standard capitalisation. |
Shift + Insert | Pastes from the clipboard. This shortcut is in addition to the well known (Ctrl + V). |
=RAND() | Inserts some random text into the active document. |
Ctrl + A | Selects all the text in the active document |
Ctrl + Home | Moves to the beginning of the document |
Ctrl + End | Moves to the end of the document |
Shift + Home | Extends the selection to the beginning of the line |
Shift + End | Extends the selection to the end of the line |
