Shortcut Keys

Ctrl + ASelects all the text in the active document.
Ctrl + MIncreases the indentation of the current paragraph.
Ctrl + QRemoves any paragraph formatting that is not contained in the applied paragraph style.
Ctrl + TIncreases the hanging indent of the current paragraph.
Double Left Mouse ClickSelects the whole word
Ctrl + Left Mouse ClickSelects the whole sentence
Triple Left Mouse ClickSelects the entire paragraph
Alt + Ctrl + 1Applies the built-in "Heading 1" style to the selection.
Alt + Ctrl + 2Applies the built-in "Heading 2" style to the selection.
Alt + Ctrl + 3Applies the built-in "Heading 3" style to the selection.
Ctrl + Shift + MDecreases the indentation.
Ctrl + Shift + NApplies the Normal style to the selection.
Ctrl + Shift + TDecreases the hanging indent.
Ctrl + SpacebarRemoves any character formatting that is not contained in the applied paragraph style.
Ctrl + BackspaceDelete one word at a time.
Ctrl + HomeMoves to the beginning of the document
Ctrl + EndMoves to the end of the document
Ctrl + Shift + 8Toggles the display of paragraph formatting (non printable characters).
Shift + F1Toggle the display of the Reveal Formatting task pane. It shows the formatting separating paragraph-level and character-level (or font-level, which is the font group on the Home tab)
Shift + F3Toggles the selection between all capitals, all lowercase or standard capitalisation.
Shift + InsertPastes from the clipboard. This shortcut is in addition to the well known (Ctrl + V).
Shift + HomeExtends the selection to the beginning of the line
Shift + EndExtends the selection to the end of the line
=RAND()Inserts some random text into the active document.
