Copying

If the paragraph marker is selected with the text, the formatting of the paragraph stays with the selection.

If the paragraph mark is not selected, the paragraph takes on the formatting on the surrounding text where it is pasted.

(Ctrl + Shift + C) - will copy the format
(Ctrl + Shift + V) - will paste the format
(Ctrl + Spacebar) - removes all character formatting (inc character styles)
