Shortcut Keys

This is a list of all the shortcut keys related to workbooks.

F9	Smart Calculation. Calculates All the worksheets in All the open workbooks. (only cells containing formulas that have changed since the last calculation, will be updated). Replaces the highlighted part of a formula with its result to help debug when using the formula bar.
Ctrl + Alt + F9	Full Calculation. Calculates All the worksheets in All the open workbooks. (all cells containing formulas).
Ctrl + Alt + Shift + F9	Full Recalculation. Calculates All the worksheets in All the open workbooks. (all cells containing formulas). (rebuilding the dependency tree and calculation chain).
F12	Displays the Save As dialog box.
Ctrl + N	Creates a New (default) workbook.
Ctrl + O	Displays the Open Options on the File tab.
Ctrl + S	Saves. Displays the "Save this file" dialog box when its a new workbook.
Ctrl + Tab	Moves to the Next open workbook or window.
Ctrl + Shift + Tab	Moves to the Previous open workbook or window.
Ctrl + F4	Closes the active workbook or window (saving first).
Ctrl + F5	Restores the size of the active workbook or window.
Ctrl + F6	Moves to the Next open workbook or window.
Ctrl + F7	Activates the Move window command.
Ctrl + F8	Activates the Resize window command.
Ctrl + F9	Minimise the active workbook to the task bar.
Ctrl + F10	Maximise the size of the active workbook.
Ctrl + Shift + F6	Moves to the Previous open workbook or window.
Alt + F4	Closes Excel (saving first).
