Bernoulli Distribution
This is a discrete distribution
Named after Jacob Bermoulli
A single random experiment with outcome either success or failure
The outcome of a bernoulli trial is a random variable with a bernoulli distribution
This is equivalent to a binomial distribution where (n=1)
This type of distribution can be thought of as an extremely simple binomial distribution.
Example - Throwing a Coin
The distribution of throwing a head or a tail in a single coin flip.
Example - Rolling a Dice
Properties
Discrete distribution
There are only two possible outcomes either success or failure
The simplest type of discrete distribution.
Assumptions
All the trials have the same probability of success
